* Can mares be claimed by anyone of any alliance, or only by their own?
* If they are, do they have to convert?
* Are there other circumstances under which one can change their alliance?
* Can someone 'fake' an alliance? Do they have to be utterly obvious about it from the start, or can the author build up to it slowly and evilly..? *fangs*
* Forced claims are disallowed, no? What defines a force claim? Joe walking up to Susan and saying, "You're coming with me, wench", or Joe herding Susan to his terrain biting and nipping when she says 'no'?
* Stallions don't have to have a terra to claim, no?
* Are relationships between one user's characters forbidden? Cos I have this awesome subplot... >o<

* There's this old thread in... Raven Flight Forest? between a stallion trying to claim a mare and the mare herself. It looks really cool. It's interesting. How adamant are you going to be about following in character rules? Say, the fighting rules are in place in case somebody gets ugly. But if somebody doesn't, is it okay if the two people involved play things out to their hearts' content? "Victimless crime", I guess.
* Do the "fighting" rules apply to formal, called-out fights with things at stake only? Can you pick fights for no other reason than you like to fight?
* If you can pick a fight out of sheer liking to fight, can you drag it out longer than a formal fight?
* My mare (one of my three favorites) had a stint in a 'predator'-type roleplay. She's put together a little differently and is crazy limber. (Think what a cat's spine does when it's falling out of a tree.) She's also something of a martial artist. Would her increased flexibility and speed be allowed to come into battles? Should she not fight, or hold herself back to normal limits? Should I not join her at all? She also looks kinda funky, but I can vouch for the genetic possibility of her coloration- white body, red hair. It's called 'perlino'... If you google search "Casa de Whatever" and "horse genetics", you'll find the best site on the web for color inheritance, in my opinion.
* If you have a mare claim a territory, how does she claim? If the lead mare is more interested in herdbuilding, can she go and claim in her stallion's stead?

* "Main kings can go into any territory of his alliance and be respected". Does that mean that lesser kings- herd leads? can't enter other lands at all, or that they just won't get respected? Judging from the fact that we have a Militiaman class, I'm assuming more than one stallion in a herd is okay.

* Who can and can't make a herd together? In the wild they have bachelor bands of young stallions who can't find any mares. Is it possible to do that? Is it possible to have a spinster band? Bachelorette band. Whatever. XP I'm also assuming, because of court ranks, that herd members don't have to be sexually involved with each other. XP So can a group of friends band up as travelling companions?
* Another thing that I see on documentaries (yes, I'm a research freak) are two bachelor stallions teaming up to take on one herd stallion. Can this happen?

* Can mares be claimed by anyone of any alliance, or onlyby their own? Only by their Own.. in the cliaming grounds the stallions will know which alliance you are. Unless you wish to have a slave. If it's in the claiming grounds you must ask permission by the RP-er first.. If it's anywhere else.. it's your call.
* If they are, do they have to convert? The only alliance that can convert is the Loners, and that is just because they are right in the middle.
* Are there other circumstances under which one can change their alliance? If you wish to change your alliance PM me and it'll be done. Also if you are a loner and just finally decide what lands you wish to change to.

Force claims are allowed, usually the mare will reject though. But you CAN PM the role-player.
* Stallions don't have to have a terra to claim, no? Nope, if stallions with no territory develop a herd they go to the Homeless Herds, where they wait to get a territory. But in order to challenge you must have a mre at your side.

* If so, how do you generate the baby's stats? In the Bearing Fields, you must fill out the form, and you can just post the mare's stats, or, create a random male's stats. And you must wait for birthing season first.
* You stay pregnant as long as you like, correct? Nope, as soon as it is foaling season you have to have the foal (every two weeks about) But if you need to be pregnant or something you can PM a staff member.

You can do that how ever you wish, it's really up to the RP-er on that. It also depends on the stallion claiming, he could kill the foal..

Well, the actually fighting would be between say two stallions w ho both want the mare. If it's stallion vs mare, you wont have to play by the fighting rules.

Yes, but only one stallion may fight, and the stallion the fights say this example.. King A was challenged by Loner I and Loner II. King A will fight who ever wishes to be king. So King A will fight Loner I. and the Beta stallion or hair (the king choses which) will fight Loner II for their position.

Well all breedings result in pregnancy.. unless you breed in foaling season.. but there still will be a chance of a foal, and the foal will have deformities if it is born.

Dunno, if this fits in.. but I thought I would add it.. a mare from another alliance can fall in love with a stallion with another alliance.

She can either post in the terra, or in the claiming grounds. And earn her way up to queen, usually if the king sees potential in the Watermark, the King will accept right away, or if he falls in love.
If Kiba has a queen before that, you can always challenge the queen.

* The Raven Flight Forest question... A mare and a stallion were fighting, long term, outside the fighting board. On three counts, that's not allowed. However, nobody was powerplaying, nobody mucked up the general order of the RP... Nothing was 'at stake', except whether the mare got forceclaimed or not. If something like that were to happen in the future, should I expect the admins to flock in like ravens and administer punishment to all involved? ...;; I would probably ask before I tried any funny scheme anyway... ;;;
